How to clean and care for your pushchair

If you want to get the most out of your pushchair, you should not go without regular care, cleaning and maintenance. It is in daily use for the family. Covers, moving parts such as wheels and joints are sometimes subject to heavy wear. Care is important for a long stroller life and to maintain the usual functionality.

We have put together the most important tips for cleaning and caring for your stroller.

Clean wheels

Regularly remove the wheels, clean them and remove stones and other debris.

Inflating air-filled tires correctly

For our ABC Design air-filled tires, we recommend a tire pressure of 1.8 to 2.0 bar.

Oil the joints and wheels

This keeps them smooth and ensures comfortable riding and handling. Please use only silicone-free oils.

Clean the covers

Simply remove loose dirt with a handheld vacuum cleaner/vacuum cleaner. Clean removable covers regularly with a cold wash/hand wash. Wipe parts that cannot be removed clean with wet wipes or a soft household sponge.

Frame care

Water and a little mild dish soap will keep the frame shiny and clean.

Remove salt

In winter, thoroughly clean the stroller with water before the stubborn salt can settle in.
