Second coupling for flexible use of your Tour 2 bike trailer with more than one bike

You connect the Tour 2 bike trailer to your bike using a hitch. This essential connecting element is mounted on the bike’s rear axle. Before each ride, you attach the drawbar and secure it. Since the hitch remains permanently attached to the bike, your Tour 2 can be quickly attached and detached at any time after the hitch has been installed once.

A hitch is already included with your Tour 2. However, if you use more than one bike in your daily family life, a second hitch as an accessory is particularly practical. This way, you can equip both wheels with their own hitch and use them flexibly with your Tour 2. This allows you to be spontaneous and use your Tour 2 regardless of which wheel you’re riding. Use one wheel for shopping or a trip to the playground, and let the other wheel pull the trailer on your weekend bike tour.

Important to know: Bicycles are categorized by three axle systems: solid axle, quick-release axle, and thru-axle. Depending on the axle system and frame design, an adapter or spacer may be required. You’ll find relevant instructions in your bicycle’s user manual. These manuals usually also include helpful information on how to attach a bicycle trailer to your specific model.

ATTENTION: This coupling is only compatible with the Tour 2 bike trailer (from 2026 onward). A different coupling is required for the Tour bike trailer from the 2025 collection. Even though the couplings differ, the installation process for the Tour and Tour 2 follows the same principle.
